Our Story
In the summer of 2025, I took my two sons on a family vacation to Greece. One day, while aboard a private yacht in the breathtaking Aegean Sea, my boys discovered an underwater sea scooter for the very first time.
Within minutes, everything changed.
They spent hours laughing, diving beneath the surface, chasing fish, and exploring the underwater world with excitement I had never seen before. It wasn’t just another vacation activity—it became the highlight of our entire trip.
This experience made me realize something important: The best vacations aren’t remembered because of the hotel room or the flight. They’re remembered because of the moments that bring families together.
On the flight home, one question stayed with me:
Why doesn’t an experience like this exist for families visiting South Florida?
That single question became the inspiration for Glide Miami.
Our mission is simple:

That passion for the water is shared by all our team. Born and raised in Grenada, West Indies, Travis Howe developed a deep appreciation for the sea from an early age. Surrounded by the Caribbean Sea, he grew up observing marine life, learning about local fishing traditions, and spending time in the ocean. These experiences created a long-lasting respect for the sea and its natural beauty.
