Dejan Davidovic founded Glide Miami in 2026 after spending years searching for a SEABOB experience worthy of the machine. He found none.
Dejan grew up between the seaside towns of Ankaran and Koper on Slovenia’s Adriatic coast. From an early age, life revolved around the sea. The Adriatic gave him not only a love for the water, but a deep appreciation for sunshine, freedom, and an active outdoor life. Dejan has always thrived in the energy of the ocean.
Inspired by his connection to the Adriatic and his love for gliding effortlessly through the water, Dejan launched Glide Miam. He built Glide Miami around one principle: the best experiences are exceptional, personal, and led by someone who genuinely loves what they do. For Dejan, this is more than a business. It is a reflection of a lifelong passion for the sea.
Travis Howe — Operations Manager
Born and raised in Grenada, West Indies, Travis Howe developed a deep appreciation for the sea from an early age. Growing up on an island surrounded by the Caribbean’s sparkling waters, he spent much of his childhood observing marine life and learning about the traditions of fishing and seafaring that have long been part of Grenadian culture.
His fascination with the ocean grew as he matured, inspiring an enduring interest in marine environments and the role the sea plays in the lives of Caribbean people. Experiences such as watching local fishermen return with their daily catch, swimming along coral reefs, and enjoying time on the water with family and friends all helped shape his outlook on life and fostered a strong respect for nature.
Travis’ connection to the sea has remained a constant source of motivation, influencing both his personal interests and his appreciation for preserving the natural beauty of the sea for future generations.
